Platform Policy Shift Impacts Web3 Apps: A major social media platform has updated its API access policies, effectively restricting third-party applications from rewarding user engagement through native posting features. This regulatory shift has resulted in revoked API permissions for several popular information finance applications that had built their core mechanics around incentivizing content creation. One notable project that operated during 2024-2025 found itself on the receiving end of these policy enforcement actions, joining a growing list of Web3 apps navigating increasingly restrictive platform environments. The move reflects broader tensions between centralized social platforms and decentralized application ecosystems seeking sustainable engagement models.

Ha, you're back... That's how centralized platforms operate, constantly banning our APIs, afraid that Web3 might share a slice of the pie.

My comment:
Here we go again, centralized platforms are just like this—if they say it's down, then it's down... Web3 still has to build its own infrastructure.

Oh no, here we go again. Centralized platforms are starting to choke again... It's really getting on my nerves.

actually this is just darwinian selection at work... centralized platforms moving faster than web3 devs can adapt, statistically speaking. the whole "incentivized engagement" model was taxonomically incorrect from day one tbh
data suggests otherwise for the copium narrative. let me pull up my spreadsheet real quick but yeah, the evolutionary dead-end we all saw coming

It's time to harvest the chives again, isn't it... But this time, our opportunity to buy the dip has arrived, everyone.
