Solana's transaction processing architecture would benefit significantly from a unified scheduler. Right now, the network lacks a cohesive approach to ordering and executing transactions, which creates inefficiencies and limits throughput potential. A proper scheduling layer could dramatically improve consistency, reduce conflicts, and allow Solana to better compete with other high-performance blockchains. This is one of the critical infrastructure upgrades the ecosystem needs to tackle.

Unified scheduler sounds good, but Solana's patching over the years still only treats the symptoms and doesn't address the root cause.

Basically, the scheduling mechanism of SOL is still too weak. The chaotic execution order makes it difficult to compare with ETH... We really need to implement a unified scheduler as soon as possible, or else the performance ceiling will remain here.

Basically, Solana's current scheduler is no different from having none at all; it's extremely congested.

Here comes the hype about SOL's infrastructure again. I just want to ask—if the scheduler is fixed, can transaction conflicts really disappear? I was this optimistic before going all-in that time, and as a result, I was liquidated to the point of doubting life. If only I had known earlier, optimizing infrastructure and keeping up with market liquidity are two completely different things; borrowing rates will only be higher.
