The current mech design framework for infofi is fundamentally flawed and ripe for gaming. Rather than resorting to outright bans, I'd much rather see leaders in this space collaborate on building better-designed governance frameworks and opening up more transparent data access. That approach drives real innovation. The issue is pretty obvious though—bot activity has become impossible to ignore, and the system as it stands just doesn't have adequate safeguards. Better incentive structures and smarter mechanisms would go a long way.

The mechanism design is so poor, no wonder there are robots running around everywhere.

The design of the NGL mechanism is really terrible, but banning it isn't the solution either. We need everyone to work together to find a way.

The real problem isn't the ban, but the terrible incentive mechanism, which everyone can see.

Honestly, disabling what? It won't solve the fundamental problem at all.

The mechanism design is terrible, with a bunch of bots running rampant. Instead of banning, it's better to implement transparent data and better incentive structures—that's the long-term solution.
