On January 7th, Dusk celebrated the one-year anniversary of the DuskDS mainnet launch. Looking back at the progress over the past year, it has been quite solid — completing the L1 upgrade, launching the Hedger Alpha privacy tool, rolling out the Sozu staking protocol, and forming partnerships with Chainlink and NPEX. The overall pace has been steady.

The highlight for 2026 is undoubtedly the launch of DuskEVM mainnet. Once this Layer2 runs smoothly, the ecosystem should welcome a wave of new applications. Pieswap is already running on the testnet, and more DeFi projects are expected to follow after the mainnet goes live.

Cross-chain bridges also deserve attention. Users need to easily transfer assets between Ethereum, a leading public chain, and Dusk, so the user experience of bridges must be optimized. Chainlink’s CCIP protocol should play a role in this area.

On the community side, the CreatorPad event hosted by a major exchange is just the beginning. More incentive schemes will be needed to attract users. The Sozu airdrop will continue until July, providing an early opportunity for users to get involved. The real challenge is how to retain them after the event ends.

In terms of technical standards, DRC20 has just been released and is still under community discussion. If this standard is widely adopted, it could significantly improve interoperability among ecosystem applications.

Price-wise, it’s difficult to predict precisely. However, if the mainnet launches smoothly and the application ecosystem develops well, there is still room for the market cap of 33 million USD to grow. The key is that the overall market environment does not deteriorate.

Currently, DUSK is around 0.0663, up 16% over the past 7 days, with a short-term technical outlook leaning bullish. However, attention should be paid to the 0.069 resistance level — where $206,000 in short liquidations are stacked. Breaking through may require increased trading volume.

Looking ahead, if the stories of privacy and RWA continue to develop, Dusk, as one of the few projects with both attributes, is likely to attract more attention. However, be prepared for the possibility that the technical implementation cycle may take longer than expected.

Airdrops end in July? How to retain users afterward, that's the real test. --- DuskEVM launch is the key; without it, everything else is just empty talk. --- The story of the privacy track is well told, but I still have some doubts about RWA. --- Whether 0.069 breaks or not really depends on whether the market gives us a chance; the recent market has been too unpredictable. --- Basically, it's a gamble on the mainnet launching smoothly; otherwise, it's all just talk. --- Chainlink's CCIP protocol? It's Chainlink saving the day again, right? --- I have doubts about the widespread adoption of DRC20; winning the standard war isn't that easy. --- Be cautious when it rises 16%; short-term strength can attract short-sellers. --- The hardest part is the cold start of the ecosystem; pouring money in doesn't keep users, a common problem. --- The combination of privacy + RWA is indeed rare, but the long technical implementation cycle also means higher risk.

Hey, is DuskEVM really going live? Then the 0.069 hurdle needs to be broken through. Stability is good, but how to retain users after the airdrop is a big issue. Privacy + RWA dual attributes sound appealing, but everyone knows the implementation cycle... By the way, can Sozu stick around until July? It feels like these incentives are just fleeting. The cross-chain bridge experience is the real bottleneck; otherwise, more ecosystems won't help. If the DRC20 standard can't be pushed forward, it's all in vain. Interoperability must be sorted out, or everything is pointless. After the mainnet goes live and applications start running, that's the real test. It's too early to say anything now. The 0.0663 level is still a bit uncertain; if trading volume isn't enough, it might not break through.

Stability is good, but I'm worried that the community enthusiasm might fade later on... --- If DuskEVM can really go live this year, then Pieswap and other DeFi projects should be able to benefit from the growth, right? --- To be honest, the pressure level at 0.069 can't be broken. This recent surge might just be a false breakout. --- Privacy + RWA double buff sounds good, but the long technical implementation cycle is a real problem. Patience is needed. --- Sozu airdrop lasts until July, and after that? We need to think about how to retain this group of people, or it will just be another wave of rug pulls. --- If the cross-chain bridge experience is really improved, then the market cap of 33 million has real potential. --- Is the DRC20 standard still under discussion? How long will it take before it can be truly used in the ecosystem? --- A 16% increase is quite impressive, but I’ll wait until it breaks 0.069 before I buy in. --- The Chainlink partnership sounds like a highlight, but the key is to see how effective it actually is.

Here we go again with the same rhetoric, waiting for the mainnet launch? I'm already tired of hearing it. --- Is that position at 0.069 really going to break through? Feels like it's going to drop again. --- Privacy + RWA? Sounds impressive, but too many DeFi projects are saying the same thing. --- Sozu airdrop until July, and by then, it will definitely dump. Trust me. --- Why are all projects talking about ecosystems, but no one has actually used them? --- Let's wait until DuskEVM launches; anyway, technical implementation is still far off. --- A 16% increase isn't much; next month, it'll be cut again. --- Can RWA really be developed? It just seems like hype around concepts.

Wait a minute, is the 0.069 liquidation order really stacking up? I need to check the trading volume data before getting in; just looking at a 16% price increase makes it easy to get trapped... If DuskEVM mainnet can successfully launch, the story of privacy + RWA can indeed be told, but don’t forget how many L2 promises in 2017 ended up being abandoned. This time, we need to be mentally prepared and not overestimate the speed of technological implementation. Honestly, the Sozu airdrop lasting until July is just a fundraising cycle. I’m a bit worried about user attrition after the event ends; this is something repeated by historical data... The DRC20 standard is still in the discussion stage. Interoperability sounds great, but actual implementation always lags behind expectations by a year or two. Based on the quantitative model, this is not a short-term positive.
