Recent policy shifts around developer APIs tell you something important—it's not just about cracking down on apps. What's really happening is a reckoning with broken incentive structures. When platforms shut down applications that gamify user engagement through rewards (the kind that pays people just for posting), they're essentially admitting the model doesn't work. These tools, sometimes called infofi apps, expose a fundamental problem: misaligned incentives collapse quickly. The takeaway? In Web3 and crypto, reward design isn't an afterthought. Get it wrong and the whole thing unravels. Get it right and you build something sustainable.

Damn, someone finally exposed this layer... Those airdrop farmers should have been finished long ago.

Damn, that's why those air projects are doomed to fail sooner or later.

Is that it? I saw through the incentive model early on. Aren't those scam coin launch projects all using this trick? In the end, they all end up worthless.

Basically, those worthless projects should die. Relying solely on issuing tokens to stimulate user participation won't last long. These scam applications should have been cut long ago.
