nah this is the classic "read the fine print" moment where everyone suddenly realizes airdrops aren't free money... governance primitives were always gonna filter out the casuals tbh. historical precedent suggests this creates sub-optimal incentive structures for actual participation but hey, at least the path dependency is transparent now
