【Blockchain Rhythm】In the recent meeting of Ethereum core developers, there have been new developments. The 228th Execution Layer Core Developer Meeting (ACDE) finalized several important matters: firstly, due to the coordination issues between the consensus layer and execution layer related to EIP-7843 (slot opcode), decisions regarding BALs Devnet-2 need to be postponed. Additionally, seven proposed EIPs ultimately did not fall within the scope of the Glamsterdam upgrade—the technical team conducted strict reviews of these proposals. However, EIP-7954 was included in the consideration; this proposal involves adjusting contract size from 24KB to 32KB.
The atmosphere of this meeting was quite pragmatic. Everyone's focus was on finalizing the details of the Glamsterdam upgrade, with discussions mainly centered around technical aspects. The team's goal is very clear—lock in the scope of the upgrade as soon as possible to avoid further delays. It seems that the Ethereum development community is accelerating the pace of this upgrade.

Yet again, another upgrade. The frequency of Ethereum upgrades is really hard to keep up with.

The contract size needs to be changed again? Eth developers are really trying to make gas fees go through the roof.

It's delayed again and again. The slot opcode thing is really a bit of a hassle.

Another batch of EIPs to change. These days, Ethereum updates more frequently than the balance in my wallet.
