Thoughts on DeFi Liquidity and Lending

There's a perspective that has always been very useful—idle assets equal missed opportunities. This logic is especially valid in DeFi.

Regarding liquidity mining and lending strategies, some practical approaches from early days remain effective today, and even more promising in the context of rapid development in RWA and cross-chain ecosystems.

The core idea is actually quite simple:

Viewing assets as static storage tools limits returns. But if you see them as a continuously operating income engine, enabling capital to circulate through liquidity mining, lending combinations, and other methods, the potential for returns changes entirely. As cross-chain ecosystems become more complete, assets can find more opportunities for value appreciation in various scenarios. The hot concept of RWA also indicates that traditional assets, once tokenized, can enter this income-generating system as well.

The key is to proactively think about the optimal allocation of assets.

Idle assets are really a waste, but to be honest, with the current volatility in the crypto market, how brave must one be to put money in and run strategies?

Keeping assets idle means you're losing money, that's no problem. But when it comes to RWA... can it really take off? I still feel like it's just in the hype stage.

Nice words, but isn't it just waiting for the big whales to drain the liquidity so we can be harvested again. Are early strategies still effective? Ha, those profits have already been squeezed out by arbitrage bots. Idle assets are a waste of opportunity, and asset operations are just a waste of fees, no difference. RWA being hot means making money? Let's wait and see what happens next month. No matter how good the allocation method is, it can't escape the fate of being "injected" with a spike.

Idle assets are truly a game for the weak; it’s high time to put the money in and get it running.

Idle assets are really bleeding, but to be honest, the current lending environment also carries significant risks.

Still using idle assets as withdrawal cards? I already invested everything long ago. The current problem is how to climb out of the deep pit of zero.

Idle assets are indeed a sin, but on the other hand... Could this wave of RWA be the last celebration before Bitcoin crashes?
