Big news on January 15th—TRON DAO announced native integration of the TRON network into MetaMask, covering both mobile and browser extension versions.

This integration brings many improvements. Users can now directly manage TRX and TRC-20 USDT and other TRON ecosystem assets within MetaMask, eliminating the hassle of switching between multiple wallets. To operate TRON dApps, simply connect—no more detours.

Even more interesting is the upgraded cross-chain experience—seamless swaps between TRON, EVM chains, Solana, and BTC can be done directly within the wallet interface, elevating liquidity and convenience. Additionally, the Stake feature is now directly integrated.

For the TRON ecosystem, this is a significant breakthrough at the wallet level, allowing more MetaMask users to naturally access the TRON ecosystem, and bringing a brand new experience to on-chain asset management and cross-chain operations.

Wallet integration is essentially a classic approach to reduce interaction costs and optimize user retention. But the question is, will there really be that many users migrating assets just to save a few clicks? It all depends on on-chain liquidity data.

ngl this is actually pretty bullish... native metamask integration means normies won't have to go through the whole "add network manually" nightmare anymore. probably nothing but could actually drive real adoption nvm i'm already down bad on tron anyway so cope or whatever

Hey, MetaMask has finally integrated TRON natively. It was about time. Now there's no need to switch wallets back and forth, directly swing TRX and USDT, which is really cool.
