A founder of a major exchange recently proposed a bold idea: governments should record fiscal expenditures on the blockchain to create a transparent, open, and tamper-proof ledger. After all, since it’s called "public expenditure," it should be accessible for the public to see where the money is flowing.

This proposal is indeed interesting. The core advantages of blockchain—immutability and transparency—when applied to government budget management, could theoretically significantly reduce information asymmetry in fiscal data. Imagine taxpayers being able to track the use of public funds in real-time—what a scene that would be!

Of course, it's easier said than done. Whether some countries' fiscal systems can be fully on-chain involves complex issues across legal, technical, and political dimensions. But as a direction, it’s definitely worth policymakers seriously considering.

This idea is quite idealistic, but who would dare to look once it's on the chain? Haha Government on-chain budgets? First, improve transparency of exchanges. Dreams are grand, but the reality is that governments around the world want to hide something. But on the other hand, if it can really be achieved, taxpayers' voice will be much stronger. Oh my, if this really happens, how many corrupt officials will lose sleep? Sounds good, but isn't it just another round of power struggle? That will have to wait until the Year of the Monkey or the Year of the Horse; most governments aren't even aware of this. Using blockchain here is brilliant, but unfortunately, no country dares to really do it.

Good grief, trying to use blockchain to reform the government again? Basically, they just want the wealthy to have nowhere to hide their money. Government on the blockchain? First, get your own ledgers in order. This idea is good, but do you dare to believe they will really be transparent? LOL Taxpayers tracking public funds... sounds great, but in reality? Layers of cover-ups. If it were truly feasible, a country would have done it long ago. Why are we still talking about it? It sounds nice, but the difficulty is comparable to making the wealthy pay taxes. LOL Blockchain is not a panacea; some problems are simply not technical. This guy's idea is good, but he's too idealistic. I just want to know, which government is willing to be publicly supervised? Dream on.

This guy is dreaming again. Why should the government be transparent? I've already decided that before going on the chain, I need to ask those people for their approval or disapproval.
