Is it technically possible for XCU developers to configure the protocol's fee distribution mechanism to redirect collected fees toward external addresses or historical figures as a governance experiment? What are the smart contract constraints here?

nah, the whole premise is sus tbh. if devs had the technical capability to redirect fees *arbitrarily* like that, you're basically looking at a centralized fee siphoning mechanism waiting to happen. that's not governance, that's just a backdoor with extra steps.

Cost redirection sounds fancy, but when it comes to smart contract constraints, it really hits a bottleneck, tsk tsk.

Cost reallocation sounds good, but there must be restrictions on the smart contract side... But then again, if this kind of governance experiment really works out, that would be true innovation.

Cost reallocation? Sounds like they're setting traps for smart people and playing tricks...

Haha, the issue of XCU's fee reallocation... To be honest, I think there's nothing technically impossible about it, but the real question is, why do it? Isn't this just digging your own grave?

Can the fee mechanism be changed arbitrarily? It depends on how the contract is written. It feels like this question is a bit of a presumptive assumption...

Huh? Redirecting fees to a historical figure's address? That's a pretty wild idea. How would on-chain verification of ancient people's identities work...

Hmm, this question is interesting. Theoretically, of course, it can be changed, it just depends on how the contract is written... But it would be a bit ridiculous to point to a historical figure's address, haha.

Cost redirection sounds very appealing, but the on-chain contract hurdle is probably stuck... overthinking it.

Hey, that's a pretty magical idea—sending governance fees to historical figures? But on the other hand, smart contract restrictions are definitely going to be tightly locked down. Is it even possible to bypass them?
