Major tech platforms face mounting criticism over inconsistent content moderation policies. When it comes to controversial topics—geopolitical events, political figures' statements, economic policies—platforms like YouTube often apply different standards. The question isn't just about *what* gets flagged, but *why* certain content faces restrictions while similar posts remain untouched. This selective enforcement raises concerns about transparency and accountability. For the Web3 community advocating decentralized alternatives, this pattern highlights why independent, rule-based systems matter. Users deserve clarity: are moderation decisions based on consistent principles, or do they shift based on external pressures? The broader issue—whether big tech properly discloses how algorithms determine what stays visible—remains unresolved.

Really, the double standards are so obvious. Some comments are deleted in a second, while others can stay for a long time...

That's why Web3 has to get started; centralized platforms play double standards and do it sneakily.

It's 2024, and big companies are still playing "selective" moderation? Laughable, isn't it? This is just blatant double standards. Artificial intelligence and encryption technology are developing so quickly, yet content moderation still remains at the stage of "I'll delete what I want"... Web3 is supposed to break this deadlock, right? YouTube's algorithm is essentially a black box—who knows who is pulling the strings behind the scenes? Why is it that the same topic gets a ban for Creator A, but Creator B can post freely? This lack of transparency is just unbelievable. Can decentralization really change these issues? I'm increasingly convinced that on-chain governance is the only way out.

It's the same old trick again. YouTube's double standards are unbelievable. Some accounts are completely deleted overnight, while others are blatantly left alone, and I can't quite put my finger on why.

The algorithm black box is back again. YouTube's double standards are truly unmatched; the same content gets some channels banned while others are thriving.

It's the same old trick again. Everyone can see the double standards in YouTube's review standards, but no one dares to say it.
