There is a harsh truth in the circle: the only two tricks to consistently lose money are—heavy positions and high leverage.

When newcomers enter the market, there's always a persistent belief—capital is limited, so when will I turn things around if I don't leverage? So, they go all-in with full positions and max leverage, rushing in headlong. On the surface, it seems like taking a shortcut, but in reality, it's digging a hole for oneself.

Frankly, this isn't just a high-risk issue. From the moment you press confirm, the outcome is already decided; you're just waiting for the liquidation point.

Many people have a misconception: leverage can help amplify profits. Wrong. Leverage only magnifies volatility. Under leverage, every tiny fluctuation is infinitely amplified. The crypto market oscillates, retraces, and washes out traders 24/7—no matter how clever your analysis, it can't withstand this noise. Your direction and logic might be correct, but if the market doesn't move in your favor before your account gets wiped out, it's all over.

Stop-loss triggers and forced liquidations are not issues of trading skill—they are the inherent sins of heavy positions combined with high leverage. You think you're fighting for a better life, but in reality, you're passively taking the market’s hits, holding on until you lose everything.

A phenomenon worth observing: who are the most "welcomed" users on exchanges? Those who go all-in, use high leverage, trade frequently, and stubbornly hold on. Why? Your stop-loss is their liquidity; your liquidation is their counterparty; your trading fees are their steady income. In trading, you are essentially just fuel for the market.

On the other hand, those who have survived several cycles in the circle tend to have a simple strategy—light positions, low leverage, avoid chasing thrills, and just focus on survival. It's not because they don't want to make quick money, but because they truly understand one fact: there are countless opportunities in the crypto space, but if your capital is gone, it's gone for good. Betting with 20x or 50x leverage to change your fate? That’s not trading; that’s speeding up your exit.

These pitfalls will be encountered sooner or later, but some people only lose a little and cut losses in time, while others lose all their capital. The consequences are worlds apart.

The market moves every day; the key is to preserve your capital and your original intention. When the next cycle comes, only those who have survived can stand firm.

The statement is correct, but it's too difficult to achieve.

You're so right, every time I see those 50x leverage trades, I just want to laugh. --- Living with small positions to last longer is an old saying, but the key is whether you can endure it. --- Ah, when I truly lose everything one day, I'll understand. --- The exchange is the happiest when we get liquidated. --- Losing your principal is more painful than anything else, that hits home. --- Thinking back to the last time I went all in, uh, never mind, I won't say it. --- Are people who survive several cycles really just small positions with low leverage? To me, they still look like gamblers. --- Leverage amplifies not profits, but fear. --- Stop-loss is hard. Knowing the principle and actually doing it are two different things. --- There are plenty of opportunities in the crypto world. That's true, but if you lose your principal, it's all for nothing.

It's just bad, but I insist on using leverage --- Living is more important than anything else, this is really not wrong --- I'm the one who got stopped out, a painful lesson --- Light positions are really fragrant, I just realized now --- Seeing "You think trading is just becoming fuel for the market," I feel a bit broken --- Principal is the foundation, everything else is虚的 --- Full position dream shattered现场, I don't want to mention it anymore --- It's really hard to survive one cycle in the crypto world, those who survive two cycles are all talents --- "Just want to stay alive" this sentence hits hard --- Stop loss is also take profit, I finally understand this logic

Honestly, I've seen too many people blow up with 20x leverage. Their accounts get wiped out in just a few months, and it's better to just hold coins steadily.
