Non-custodial wallets and self-custody aren't just technical choices—they're the foundation of true financial sovereignty. When you control your private keys, you control your assets. No intermediaries, no surprises. In a space full of noise and distractions, that clarity is your real edge.

Having the private key in hand means I own the world. That's true, but how many can actually do it?

ngl this is what Web3 should look like. Self-custody wallets are the ultimate solution; everything else is nonsense.

Is self-custody wallets really nonsense? I still believe in the argument that holding the private key is the way to go... But then again, most people just can't manage their private keys properly.

According to the financial sovereignty model in the white paper, this argument overlooks a key issue: the assumption is based on users having sufficient key management capabilities, but on-chain data shows that 95% of self-custody users face operational risks. It is worth noting that true sovereignty requires full governance participation rights, not just key control.
