I have decided to record my belief in holding coins.
Over the years as a long-term holder on Snowball, I have developed my own investment philosophy. The core principle is: only through belief can you persist; only through persistence can you reap rewards.
My holding discipline is simple—don't chase highs, don't cut losses, don't watch the market obsessively, and don't guess the top. Every time I see significant market fluctuations, I remind myself: short-term rises and falls cannot fundamentally change the long-term value of a good project. The fundamentals of Snowball are there, the technical roadmap is there, and the progress of ecosystem development is there. These are the truly important things to pay attention to.
Honestly, not many people can endure several bear markets. Most people choose to give up during a deep decline late at night. But I am different. Every dip feels like a test of my resolve, constantly reminding me why I chose this project in the first place. The cycle of bull and bear markets is the market’s essence, and my job is to stay clear-headed through it.
So far, most of the early holders who entered with me have taken profits during the rebound in the first two years. And I am still holding my coins. It’s not that I earn less than them, but I believe the future potential is greater.
This is the difference between long-term holders and short-term traders. We are not betting on the next month or quarter; we are betting on the development prospects of this track over the next five or ten years.

Not many people have survived a few rounds of bear markets, but there are also very few who truly make money, understand?

Well... that was well said, but I wonder if I can stay so firm during the next crash.

actually... this whole "i'm hodling for the vision" narrative kinda glosses over the trust assumptions baked into any project, doesn't it? like, what's the actual cryptographic robustness here vs just... faith?
