Someone proposed a good idea—using this indicator system to benchmark major ETH Layer 2 solutions. Now is a great time to do this kind of horizontal comparison. By comparing the performance, fee structures, and ecosystem activity of different L2s, we can better understand the competitive landscape and opportunities of each public chain. Worth a try.

Horizontal comparison with L2? It should have been done this way a long time ago. It's really a bit late to think of it now. I spotted this pattern in on-chain data half a year ago.

Comparing horizontally is easy to say but hard to do. How can we ensure the authenticity of the data?

honestly this framework could get messy fast if nobody actually commits to transparent methodology... but yeah benchmarking the l2s properly would be chef's kiss. the fee structures alone are technically deceiving half the ecosystem rn, so this actually matters.

Horizontal comparison from the L2 perspective is indeed fresh, but there aren't many that can truly survive.

lol finally someone's looking at the actual metrics instead of just shilling their bags. most people are still sleeping on what the real bottlenecks are tho

Really? If you don't benchmark now, you can't see through the hype of these L2s at all.
