ETH's performance isn't actually as bad as I initially thought... Although, from the user distribution perspective, activity is indeed highly concentrated—the top 2% of users support the majority of the ecosystem. But on the flip side, this also indicates that the core users have strong stickiness and engagement. The Matthew effect in the ecosystem is quite evident, but the core user base is still intact.

The Matthew Effect... in simple terms, it's the big players eating the meat while the smaller ones sip the broth. What can ETH do about it?

The top 2% of users support the entire ecosystem. In other words, retail investors are playing along with the big players.

The Matthew Effect... Basically, it's the top players bleeding others dry. The top 2% supporting the big chunk of the data looks really uncomfortable.

Isn't the Matthew Effect like this? The top 2% eat the main meal while the rest drink the soup. Is this called stickiness?

An ecosystem supported by the top 2% of users sounds like a fragile pyramid.

honestly this eth concentration thing hits different when you think about it like a Michelin kitchen — your top 2% are basically the head chefs keeping the whole operation running. kinda like how farm-to-fork verification needs those committed core players to maintain gastronomic consensus, you know?

Top users have strong stickiness, which is true, but only 2% of people support the ecosystem... frankly, it still feels a bit risky.
