The crypto world is quite magical—even if you're a billionaire, it's still easy to become a "bootlicker."

Why is that? The rules are completely different.

The most straightforward reason is that there's too much money. Don't be fooled by the surface glamour; in this industry, a tenfold or hundredfold increase during a market cycle is common. If you catch the right trend, dozens of billions of new wealthy individuals will emerge. In other words, your few hundred million isn't actually that valuable in the crypto world. You're just one of many wealthy people.

This is the key—relativity. In the crypto world, the boundaries of wealth are completely flattened.

Haha, a billion in the crypto world is really nothing; a new star in a bull cycle can easily surpass you. By the way, this is exactly why the circle is so crazy—wealth flows so quickly that there's no sense of stability. Oh wait, according to this logic, even hundreds of millions are just fate... The concept of wealth in the crypto world is a joke; today's richest might have to lick others tomorrow. This article hits the nail on the head—relativity is the cruel truth. It feels like everyone is on the same starting line; having more money is pointless.

Good morning, midnight has started again. Even ten billion can't prevent the liquidity trap. To put it simply, the market is too deep; with just a few hundred million in, you can't even splash a drop.

A billion-dollar net worth is really just a little brother in the crypto world. When I doubled my wealth back then, I was also riding high, but a bear market wave immediately brought me back to my original state. This is the wonderful thing about the crypto world — the relativity of wealth completely destroys your confidence, haha. If I had known earlier, I would have just honestly gone all-in on Bitcoin, instead of chasing after these new tokens. Honestly, the rules of the crypto world are designed to make you always feel like you don’t have enough money, there’s always someone richer than you. A billion isn’t really money; I’ve seen a wave of market cycles where the value increased dozens of times. When I first entered the market, I also thought I was financially free. Now I’m just waiting for the next bull market to turn things around. This is what’s called the magic of the crypto world — no matter how much money you have, it can’t fill the bottomless pit of desire. The idea of wealth leveling is quite harsh; damn, I feel like I’ve returned to the starting point again.

One billion in the crypto world is just a little brother, and that's the most heartbreaking part.
