After 2025, bringing real-world assets onto the blockchain is no longer a novelty. The real question is: how can traditional financial institutions feel secure about playing on-chain?

Dusk's approach is very clear—don't compete with retail public chains. Since its founding in 2018, it has targeted regulated financial infrastructure, using a modular architecture that integrates privacy, auditability, and EVM compatibility. In simple terms, it's opening a backdoor for institutional users.

In January this year, DuskEVM mainnet officially went live. What does this mean? Traditional developers can write applications in Solidity and deploy them on a Layer 1 that truly centers on privacy, without the hassle of cross-chain bridges or custom virtual machines. Migration costs are nearly zero. Banks, asset management firms, and exchanges can confidently experiment with minimal risk.

Privacy is even more interesting here. Dusk balances the trade-off through Hedger protocol's zero-knowledge proofs combined with homomorphic encryption—transaction records are secret to merchants but transparent to regulators. Compliance frameworks in the EU and US are easily met, unlike some pure privacy chains that are constantly blocked.

The most convincing evidence is DuskTrade. This platform, in partnership with NPEX, which holds MTF, Broker, and ECSP licenses, has tokenized over 300 million euros of traditional securities and listed them for trading. Institutional investors can operate in a fully compliant on-chain environment, enjoying 24/7 trading, instant settlement, and programmable financial instruments—all without worrying about data leaks or fines.

Dusk's ambition isn't to revolutionize but to fill a gap. It adds blockchain speed to traditional assets and equips DeFi with institutional-grade prudence. As major banks and asset management giants roll out RWA projects, they need infrastructure like this—mature, reliable, and truly understanding regulatory logic. This year's trend is the foundation for the next decade.

But on the other hand, can this stuff really reassure traditional financial bigwigs? I'm a bit skeptical. €300 million sounds like a lot, but in the entire RWA market, it's barely a drop in the bucket... Is this really different this time?

Alright, alright, finally someone understands. Compliance is the future, not constantly bragging about some completely decentralized,虚的 system.

Institutional players really need this kind of thing. It's much more reliable than those flashy retail public chains.

Alright, Dusk's approach indeed hits the pain points... equipping big institutions with privacy armor while also satisfying regulatory authorities—that's the true balancing act.

honestly dusk's whole "selective opacity" thing is just surveillance capitalism wrapped in zk proofs... the aesthetic of compliance theater tbh

Wait, 300 million euros really on the blockchain? It's not just a number from the white paper, right?

Wow, 300 million euros have already been on the blockchain? How did I just hear about this...

300 million euros have been on the blockchain; compliance is what really matters.
