There is a type of virtual currency that has risen from obscurity to a market cap of $500 million, with an astonishing increase of 6,000 times. Just looking at the numbers is enough to get people's blood pumping. But the story behind it is far from that simple.

These coins often lack a white paper, cannot find a legitimate technical team, and early holdings are highly concentrated—more than half are held by just a few large wallets. This is a typical pump-and-dump manipulation tactic. The price surge? It’s just market sentiment being ignited and capital flooding in. Once the hype cools down, funds start to withdraw, or if any unexpected event occurs, these coins often face a crash—sometimes a complete wipeout to zero.

Historical data is there—most cryptocurrencies ultimately end up worthless, with only a very few surviving. Projects lacking intrinsic value and driven solely by hype are even riskier. If you are already involved, now is the time to calm down and carefully assess how much risk you are truly bearing.

Another old trick to fleece new investors, how are people still falling for it?

It's the same old spiel, but does anyone really listen? The temptation of 6000x is right in front of you, and risks are just clouds. White paper? Technical team? These are not important to retail investors; what's important is whether you can make quick money. So what if early coins are concentrated in big hands? As long as I get in early, I can ride the surge. There are many coins that go to zero, but some people get rich quick from these "junk coins." Good luck is the key. These kinds of persuasive articles are often just mental comfort for the big players after they have cut the leeks.

6000x is indeed tempting, but I've seen too many of these coins end up as worthless tokens. Really, don't touch them.

It's the same old story... I've seen through it long ago. No white paper and no team means pure gambling.

6000x? Ha, it's the same old trick. Really, a thing with no white paper, no team, and all the chips still in the hands of the manipulators, the faster it rises, the faster it dies. I've seen too many people get cut by this kind of thing with my own eyes.
