Recently, I have 350,000 USDT locked in a Bitcoin long position, with an unrealized loss of over 8,000. But to be honest, I remain quite calm.

Many people ask me why I don't close the position or set tighter stop-losses. Actually, I've already figured it out— in this market, pursuing the perfect entry point and the highest exit point is basically a battle with myself.

In the crypto world, everything changes, but this truth remains unchanged: most of the time, "close enough" is already good enough. You can't precisely time the bottom or the top to the second. Instead of obsessing over the 1-2% difference on the K-line every day, it's better to broaden your perspective.

Looking at the current unrealized loss over a longer cycle, it might just be a detour. The trend of BTC and whether the fundamentals have changed are far more important than short-term fluctuations.

Perhaps this is a principle only those who have survived in this market truly understand.

350,000 pushed in with an unrealized loss of 8,000, claiming to have a calm mindset—this is something only someone who has survived multiple bear markets can say.

Really, the more you live, the more you understand that stressing over that tiny price difference is pointless. An unrealized loss of 8000 is nothing; just look at the cycle and you'll feel at ease. This mindset is truly impressive.

Can you stay so calm after losing 8,000 on 350,000? I need to learn this mindset.

nah this is where most people get it wrong... chasing that perfect entry is cope. seen enough mt gox survivors preach the same thing, and honestly? they're right. 8k drawdown on 350k is noise if you're actually reading the macro setup.

Yeah, this mindset is indeed top-notch, but losing 8k on 350,000 really isn't a big deal. I get the similar logic, but the key is to know when to cut losses, right? Basically, it's about betting on momentum, which I understand, but the premise is that you need to see the right direction, brother. People who watch K-line charts every day should reflect on this, there's no doubt about that. Everyone thinks this way when they've been around long enough; it just depends on whether you can live to see that day.
