Singapore-based startup SQRIL, supported by Plan B VC Fund, has now enabled cryptocurrency exchanges, wallets, and decentralized applications (DApp) to integrate its API, allowing users to pay using stablecoins by scanning local QR codes in Asia, Africa, and Latin America. The service can handle local fiat payments to merchants, currently supporting QR code payments in the Philippines, Vietnam, and Indonesia, as well as bank transfers in Malaysia and Thailand, with plans to expand to more countries in the first quarter of 2026.
