【Block Motion】The Cosmos ecosystem has been quite active recently. Noble, a stablecoin protocol, announced a major plan—launching an EVM-based Layer 1 chain scheduled for March 18. This means Noble’s entire ecosystem focus will shift to this brand-new EVM chain, specifically serving the stablecoin ecosystem.
Interestingly, Noble is not the only project in Cosmos making this kind of shift. Sei is also brewing a similar major move. According to the latest plan, Sei intends to completely change its strategy in the upcoming upgrade, shifting from the native chain model of the Cosmos ecosystem to an EVM architecture. This means Sei will abandon the CosmWasm smart contract system and the Cosmos native asset system, fully embracing the EVM ecosystem.
What does this shift reflect? It indicates that many Cosmos projects are beginning to rethink their positioning. The liquidity, user base, and ecosystem maturity of EVM are all evident, and rather than fighting alone within the Cosmos ecosystem, it’s better to jump directly into the EVM track and share a piece of the pie.

Is Cosmos really going this far... It seems that the appeal of EVM is truly irresistible.

Is Cosmos really doomed? Even Noble and Sei have left. What competitiveness does this ecosystem have left?

Another one is leaving Cosmos. It seems that CosmWasm isn't as great as it seems.

Haha, is Cosmos starting to flee now? Noble and Sei are both moving to EVM, it feels like the ecosystem is falling apart.

Is the Cosmos ecosystem about to collectively rely on EVM? It feels a bit like abandoning our faith.
