Wu said that Makina has released an update regarding the security incident involving the DUSD/USDC Curve pool. The official statement indicates that the incident only affected users providing liquidity to the DUSD/USDC Curve pool; users solely holding DUSD, Pendle, and Gearbox positions were not impacted. Makina stated that they currently have clues about the identity of the Bot owner and have reason to believe that the owner will assist in recovering the funds. The protocol has now triggered recovery mode and is temporarily paused. Users still in the pool are advised to unilateral withdraw to DUSD. The recovery mode will be lifted, and redemptions will be reopened, with alternative exit options provided for non-KYC users.
