ETHGas launches airdrop checker, claiming will start at 21:00 today

On January 21, the ETHGas Foundation announced that the GWEI Airdrop Checker is now live. Claims will begin at 21:00 UTC+8 on January 21. Details of the claim process will be announced through the Foundation’s official channels. Previously, the ETHGas Foundation disclosed the detailed distribution and lock-up plan for the governance token GWEI, with a total supply of 10 billion tokens, allocated as follows: 31% to the ecosystem with a 10-year linear unlock; 27% to investors, including a 1-year lock-up period (10% unlocked immediately after the period) and 2-year linear unlock; 22% to the team, including a 1-year lock-up period (10% unlocked immediately after the period) and 2-year linear unlock; 10% to the community with a 4-year linear unlock; 8% to the foundation, unlocked on the first day of listing; 2% to advisors, including a 1-year lock-up period (10% unlocked immediately after the period) and 2-year linear unlock. Additionally, GWEI distributed through community airdrops will be automatically staked for 30 days upon listing to ensure early contributors participate in governance. Holders can choose to lock GWEI for a period ranging from 1 week to 4 years in exchange for veGWEI.
