Ark Invest Forecasts: BTC Price to Reach $760,000 by 2030, Market Cap to Hit $16 Trillion
On January 22, Ark Invest, led by Cathie Wood, predicted in its latest "Big Ideas 2026" report that by 2030, Bitcoin's market cap will reach approximately $16 trillion, and the overall crypto market size will grow to about $28 trillion. Based on the fixed supply of 21 million Bitcoins, this market cap implies a price of approximately $761,900 per Bitcoin, representing an increase of about 765% from the current price of around $88,000.
Ark Invest stated that Bitcoin is maturing into a new type of institutional asset class, primarily serving as a digital store of value. Currently, US spot Bitcoin ETFs and publicly traded companies hold about 12% of the total supply. The firm expects Bitcoin to dominate the cryptocurrency market and to grow at a compound annual growth rate of approximately 63% over the next five years.
