In the Twitter space hosted by Wu Shuo, Vitalik believes that the significant advantage of Chinese developers lies in user experience and front-end capabilities, and they have also made obvious improvements in back-end engineering over the past few years. The current ecosystem already has a large number of mature underlying infrastructures, and developers no longer need to build new Layer 1 or complex underlying systems from scratch. He suggests that instead of repeatedly building underlying layers, it is better to focus on creating better client-side applications, interfaces, and user experiences based on existing open protocols, such as developing excellent application layer products around decentralized social protocols. He emphasizes that most of the real work and value will appear at the application layer and user experience layer, rather than in the underlying protocols themselves.
