However, security researcher Andrey Sergeenkov analyzed that about two-thirds of this data are related to "address poisoning" attacks, where attackers send small amounts of stablecoins to millions of wallets to trick users into copying similar addresses for transactions. This attack has resulted in confirmed losses of at least $740,000.
