According to recent CoinAnk market data analysis, significant liquidations have occurred in the cryptocurrency futures contract market. Over the past 24 hours, the total liquidation volume of futures positions across the entire network has reached $149 million, including stop-losses and forced liquidations across various coins.

Position-wise Liquidation Volume and Ratio Analysis

Positions in different directions have been affected. Short position liquidations amount to $84.08 million, accounting for approximately 56% of the total, while long position liquidations are $64.71 million, about 44%. This indicates that losses from short positions were more severe, and in the market’s volatility, short position holders appear to have experienced greater losses.

Major Coin Liquidation Status

Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) accounted for most of the liquidation market. Bitcoin’s liquidation volume is $40.19 million, making up about 27% of the total liquidations, and Ethereum’s liquidation volume is $20.26 million, approximately 14%. These two major coins alone determine a significant portion of the overall market liquidations, along with liquidations in the remaining altcoin market.

Due to high leverage trading in the cryptocurrency futures market, such levels of liquidation occur frequently, making risk management for investors even more critical.
