Following Prince Group founder Chen Ze, another high-profile suspect has been uncovered. According to reports by RedStar News citing PANews, Cambodian authorities have arrested 50-year-old Chinese-Cambodian citizen Li Kuong on charges of online casino fraud. Previously known by the nickname “Yongju,” he was the owner of the famous “Royal Garden” complex in Sihanoukville and a prominent local businessman.

The Identity of Another Major Figure Revealed After Prince Group

Li Kuong was not just a real estate developer. He was a former president of the Sihanoukville Casino Association and had built an extensive business portfolio across multiple regions including Mondulkiri Province, involving casinos, hotels, construction, and early-stage timber industries. His business empire appeared to be legitimate on the surface, but internally, it functioned as an organized crime syndicate.

Online Fraud Organization Masquerading as Casinos and Hotels

The investigation results were shocking. Li Kuong was found to have used casino and hotel facilities as bases to detain victims for extended periods and to actively operate online casino fraud schemes. Evidence suggests he was not merely an individual criminal but was leading a broad fraud network with centralized control. His arrest indicates that authorities are intensifying their crackdown on rapidly spreading telecommunications scams and online crime organizations in Cambodia.

Tracking the Expansion of Cambodia’s Online Crime Network

The consecutive arrests of Chen Ze and Li Kuong reveal how deeply rooted Cambodia’s online casino crime network has become. Both suspects appeared to disguise themselves as legitimate businessmen outwardly while managing organized crime internally. As investigations continue, it is likely that more extensive organizational structures and involved individuals will be uncovered.
