Abstract generation in progress

According to the recent analysis shared by Jim Bianco, president of Bianco Research—a firm specializing in financial research and market analysis—the situation of cryptocurrency holders presents an interesting paradox. While 94% of investors are holding onto their positions without liquidating, the average investor is currently 24% below their entry point, amounting to accumulated losses close to $11 billion.

Holding Despite Losses

This 94% retention figure is particularly revealing. Despite the red numbers, most cryptocurrency holders continue to hold their assets, suggesting long-term conviction or an aversion to realizing losses. This contrasts significantly with the deterioration experienced by the average investor in terms of portfolio value.

The Gap Between Holding and Profitability

The gap revealed by Bianco illustrates a common phenomenon in volatile markets: while some holders manage to maintain a strategic position, the market average continues to face headwinds. With losses approaching double-digit percentages and billions of dollars in absolute terms, investor patience is being tested, although most have yet to give in to the temptation to exit the market.
