Techub News reports that South Korean prosecutors have recovered approximately $21 million worth of Bitcoin stolen last year. In December last year, the Gwangju District Prosecutors' Office discovered that they had lost Bitcoin seized from a gambling platform. An internal investigation revealed that the Bitcoin was stolen in August after investigators accidentally visited a phishing website and entered the seed phrase. Currently, the hacker has returned 320.8 Bitcoin to the authorities' wallet. Prosecutors stated that they have blocked transactions involving the hacker's wallet on centralized exchanges, making it difficult to liquidate these Bitcoins. The identity of the hacker remains unknown.
