I am here to cheer for the movie "The Bodyguard" (镖人)! I personally watched this film and think that "The Bodyguard" is overall a great example of authentic martial arts cinema!
When Wu Jing's character Dao Ma draws his sword and sheaths it amidst the vast desert, heroism takes on a rugged silhouette; when Xie Tingfeng's character Di Ting swings his whips under the moonlight, the martial world echoes with a cold and stern response; when Yu Shi's character stands firm with his sword in a desperate situation, the blade becomes his loudest declaration; when Chen Lijun's character Ayuya draws her bow like the moon in the sandstorm, the resilience of a family is vividly portrayed... The movie "The Bodyguard" shows us not only the adventure of a late Sui Dynasty bodyguard but also a return and introspection of the film genre to its roots. During the Spring Festival holiday, if you haven't seen "The Bodyguard" yet, it's worth a watch.
