Deep Tide TechFlow News, February 23 — According to FinanceFeeds, Siddarth Bharwani, Co-CEO and CFO of Indian IT vocational training company Jetking Infotrain, stated at the “Corporate Bitcoin” event held in Las Vegas on February 22 that the company will firmly advance its Bitcoin-backed strategy.

Jetking plans to initiate a Bitcoin reserve program by the end of 2024, becoming India’s first publicly listed company to designate Bitcoin as a primary reserve asset. Currently, it holds 21 Bitcoins valued at approximately $1.4 million, accounting for over a quarter of the company’s total market capitalization. Bharwani said this move aims to hedge against the long-term devaluation of the Indian rupee and is inspired by Michael Saylor and Strategy as strategic models. The company’s goal is to accumulate 210 Bitcoins by the end of 2026 and expand its holdings to 18,000 Bitcoins by 2030.

On the regulatory front, the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) recently rejected Jetking’s proposal to issue new shares for crypto investment purposes, citing a lack of a clear framework. However, Bharwani stated that the company is actively responding and views the current resistance as an “regulatory arbitrage opportunity” for early entrants.

In addition to asset management, Jetking is integrating Bitcoin and blockchain education into its vocational training courses. Its more than 100 training centers annually train 35,000 students, aiming to build a “Bitcoin learning ecosystem.” Bharwani noted that as India’s ruling party begins discussions on a potential national Bitcoin strategic reserve, Jetking’s exploration and practices could serve as a reference for the entire Asia-Pacific region.
