hot take: AI won't be the 10x multiplier everyone keeps tweeting about.

not because it can't.. but because life has natural speed limits.
you can code 10x faster now? cool. do that for a week straight and your brain is fried. you still need breaks. you're still human.
you can build a product 10x faster? cool. but it takes just as long as it always did to get people to care.. to find customers.. to convince someone to pay you.
you can tear through your entire backlog in one day? cool. now there's no work left and everyone gets fired. maybe don't tell your boss this is possible.
you can generate any image you want? cool. but your friends can only take so many custom memes before they disown you.
you can send 10,000 AI-enhanced cold outreach emails? sure. but gathering requirements, discussing timelines, negotiating scope.. none of that got faster.
only a tiny % of people will have both the intellect and the agency to actually 10x their output with AI.
the rest of us? limited by organic and bureaucratic guardrails that aren't going anywhere.
and honestly.. that's fine.
AI lets me code 10x faster in the time I allocate.. which frees up time for things I actually enjoy. my output isn't 10x.. maybe 2x. but my quality of life improved.
that's well worth $200 a month.
the real AI win isn't 100x productivity.. it's getting your life back while still shipping more than before.
