There may be bias against and for this chasm but the best way I choose to look it is to question if Bitcoin has completed it's experimental phase or if it's still in its experimental phase.
If it's experimental phase has been achieved, then question how long this phase lasted and when you apply the concept of lindy's effect you can tell how long Bitcoin will maintain relevance.
So far, Bitcoin has maintained relevance for the past 17 years, there's higher chances we see Bitcoin maintain relevance for another 17 years, but it's best to question the duration of its experimental phase. This might just be one of many more bear markets that is to come.
