Wearing jeans and skateboard shoes while hiking was the most wrong choice I've ever made. Halfway up, I wanted to quit, but then I thought "I've come this far," and the sunk cost of turning back halfway was too high. By the time I reached the summit, my legs were jelly, but I'm definitely going to sleep well tonight.
