Foreign Ministry: China is willing to continue making contributions to facilitating reconciliation between the two countries.
People’s Financial News, March 16 — On March 16, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian held a routine press conference. When asked about the Afghanistan-Pakistan conflict, Lin Jian stated that Afghanistan and Pakistan are neighbors who cannot be moved away. Any issues between the two countries can only be resolved through dialogue and consultation. China has been mediating the Afghanistan-Pakistan conflict through its own channels. China hopes that both sides will remain calm and restrained, face each other for face-to-face communication as soon as possible, achieve a ceasefire quickly, and resolve differences through dialogue. China is willing to continue contributing to the reconciliation and easing of relations between Afghanistan and Pakistan. (CCTV News)
