The American moon landing spacecraft just launched, and the toilet "strikes" again!
NASA's "Artemis II" just launched and already had issues: solar panels shaking wildly, communication interrupted, and the worst part— the onboard toilet broke! Live broadcast immediately raised an alarm, and four astronauts will have to endure 10 days in a cramped space... NASA Deputy Administrator (whose name sounds like "Second Brother's Younger Brother") admitted there was a remote control problem and is working on repairs.
That's not all; the rocket engine and spacecraft design are all "archaeological-grade" technology— the same as the Apollo craft from 50 years ago, basically like riding a washing machine across the Atlantic. Trump was quick to celebrate, claiming it as his achievement. But the project has been delayed multiple times, shrinking from crewed moon landing to just orbiting the moon. Will they really land next time? Maybe by 2030.
Meanwhile, in China: the Chang'e program is progressing steadily, aiming for crewed moon landing before 2030— calm and patient. Early this year, the Long March 10 rocket and Dream Ship spacecraft scored near perfect on major tests. Truly steady and far-reaching.
Even more interesting: on launch day, Elon Musk's SpaceX quietly applied for an IPO, with a valuation of $1.75 trillion! Meanwhile, our Galaxy Aerospace also started the listing process, and China Starlink's low Earth orbit satellites are already in space. Commercial spaceflight is a fierce competition between China and the US.
Finally, a four-character message for NASA: Steady and Far-reaching. Don't rush into competition and forget the lessons of Apollo 13 and Challenger. Before the toilet is fixed, let's wish the astronauts good luck!
