Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister stated:
There are no negotiations between Tehran and Washington. The statements of the American president are part of attempts to lower energy prices and buy time to implement his military plans.
Yes, there are initiatives from regional countries to reduce tensions, and our response to all of them has been clear: we are not the ones who started this war, and all these requests should be addressed to Washington.

❗️Trump ordered a five-day pause on strikes against Iran.
"I am pleased to report that the United States of America and Iran have conducted very good and productive negotiations over the last two days regarding the complete and unconditional cessation of our military operations in the Middle East. Based on the content and tone of these deep, detailed, and constructive discussions, which will continue over the course of a week, I have instructed the Department of Defense to postpone any military strikes against Iranian power plants and energy infrastructure for a five-day period, contingent upo

Tehran has implemented a new approach to controlling the Strait of Hormuz by beginning to charge some ships $2 million, said Alaeddin Boroujerdi, a member of Iran's parliamentary commission on national security and foreign policy. His remarks were reported by Iran International.
According to him, this measure has already been put into effect and reflects a "new sovereign regime" in the strait.
"Since war costs money, we naturally need to do this and charge vessels passing through the Strait of Hormuz," he said.

Iran attacked a U.S. base 4,000 km from its borders with a hypersonic missile — reports from WSJ, CNN, and BBC.
According to the IDF, a two-stage modification of the Khorramshahr-4 was used. The new missile follows a space trajectory at altitudes up to 1,200 km and strikes targets at a speed of 20 Mach, making it invulnerable to air defense systems.
The published map of the strike zones confirms that the impact radius now includes not only the Middle East but also all of Europe, including London, Paris, and Berlin.

The Strait of Hormuz remains open to all vessels except those linked to "enemies of Iran," stated Ali Mousavi, Iran's representative to the UN maritime organization, according to The Guardian.
He added that passage through this waterway is possible with coordination of security measures with Tehran. The Islamic Republic, according to Mousavi, is ready to cooperate with the International Maritime Organization to enhance maritime safety and protect sailors in the Persian Gulf.
According to Mousavi, the reason for the "current situation in the Strait of Hormuz" was attacks by Israel and the US on

Jurors in San Francisco found that American entrepreneur Elon Musk misled Twitter (now — X) investors during negotiations to buy the company in 2022. This is reported by Financial Times (FT).
The publication recalls that after announcing the purchase of Twitter for $44 billion, Musk began posting on social media that the deal was "on hold" pending verification of the share of fake accounts (he doubted there were less than 5%). These statements caused the company's stock to fall — investors feared the deal would fall through.
A group of shareholders filed a class action lawsuit, claiming they s
